THey must have been hanging up more than just food, that looked like enough for 3 for a month.

I spent 12 days in algonquin and food for 2 was less than 1/2 that white bag.
And I gained weight.

Well, at least they were doing it right. Too many idiots hang their bear bag from a branch only inches away from the trunk. Damn bears learn that food is in those bags pretty quickly. I believe that's one of the reasons you have to have one of those bear proof canisters in the Adirondack Park now.

I have no idea why they hung the whole pack. Just take out all the food and stick it in a food sack to hang it up. If they suck that much at hanging, get a bear canister.
