And this is why gun holders are considered dangerous idiots.

Man pulls gun after car accident.

The driver of the struck car then went to his vehicle to check the condition of a recently purchased flat-screen TV before heading to speak with Simeon, Kinsey said. When he got to Simeon's driver side window, Simeon pointed a gun at the man, who then went back to his own car and called police, according to Kinsey.

Retarded. I wonder exactly what the moron had in mind? He probably thought to himself "I hit this guy, so I better pull a gun on him to show my superiority."

Too bad the person who was hit didn't have a gun also, then they could have taken each other out and make the world just that much safer for the rest of us.

Sounds to me like the car was the more dangerous weapon in this situation.

Simeon was charged with possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a handgun and aggravated assault.

Doesn't sound like a legally owned handgun.

So a criminal pulls a gun on someone and this is supposed to be news? Happens all the damn time...which is why I have a permit and carry myself LAWFULLY🙄

It sounds like he may have just been a little paranoid, maybe it was a bad neighborhood or perhaps he lived in a bad neighborhood. I agree that brandishing it was an over-reaction but maybe the dude approached his vehicle yelling in a rage or something and he felt he needed to send the guy packing back to his vehicle? Just saying....there are two sides to every story. Road rage is real.

So because you are in a bad neighborhood it gives you the right to pull a gun? Since when are people from more affluent neighborhoods allowed to decide that they can do this?

What gives them the right to decide who's life is worth less? A permit?

Obviously he did not have that right and was arrested because of that.

You're trying too hard here, normally your trolling is quite decent, not quite as obvious. But you're really stretching here.

*edit - Like your sig. 😀

they arent you fucking idiot, he went to jail for doing it.

I swear I am beginning to think that the older you get the lower your IQ drops.

I'm saying, some people live in places where any stranger who approaches your car could be about to jack you, rob you, shoot you for being there or wearing the wrong colored hat. And that could make them hyper-defensive. So they go out into other areas of the world where things like that don't often happen but their 'programming' is still there. And we still don't know whether the guy came up to his car behaving in a hostile or aggressive manner. The fact that he got arrested may mean nothing more than there were no witnesses who could corroborate whether the guy was acting in a way that made him feel he needed to brandish his gun.

Yes, because a few idiots here and there are totally a representative sample of the entire gun owner population.

🙄

I think you have it wrong. Instead, it shows why all car drivers are considered dangerous idiots. Ban all cars for safety!

Anyone else irritated that nearly all media attention now makes all gun owners out to be irresponsible, crazy, and criminal? Vilifying them to push an agenda, as it were.

When gun incidents that get reported make the news, it's because a judgment was made that it was newsworthy. It's less of an agenda than the fact that it will get viewers and attention. I don't personally care if you own a gun. But I DO care if you wave one in my presence or start threatening/shooting me.

There are any number of incidents such as a kid drowning on a school trip, which if you take the news at face value make the world seem dangerous. It's called Mean World Syndrome.

LOL, great comeback!

Guns ain't the problem, being an idiot is.

Most states consider a gun in a seat pocket as concealed carry. Doesn't sound like this nimrod had a CCW permit.
