As soon as I make a billboard showing Mary holding a baby with its brain sucked out, you might have a case, bigot.Originally posted by: Todd33

If I were running, I think I'd try to piss off PETA. I'd have to cede my justification to hold office if they actually voted for me.
Considering your new sig and recent rants on abortion, I'd think you'd support PETA. After all both animal rights and abortion rights fanatics are basically fighting the same fight, right for life for those without voices. I guess you only care about some of God's creatures?

Bigot: One who is strongly partial to one's own group, religion, race, or politics and is intolerant of those who differ.
My fellow sportsmen, this cover-up isn't going to work because you and I know the Second Amendment is more than just a photo opportunity," he said.
Mr. Cheney used the rally as an opportunity to talk about the differences between President Bush and Mr. Kerry. He called Mr. Bush "a man of loyalty and kindness who speaks plainly and means what he says," in contrast to his opponent, "a man who will say and do anything if he thinks it will advance his cause.

Great photos. Nein.
This is just for politics. If he was serious about hunting he would do it in secrecy.

Funny how "Liveshot Kerry" has movies from Vietnam, & I'll be darned if I can find any pics of the great white hunter actually hunting other than the current ones from Ohio...
But what the heck, if selling out some of his base supporters in the name of winning Ohio, more power to him:disgust:
Both Bush and Kerry have sought to present themselves to the public as vital, athletic guys who enjoy taking part in sports, too. Bush plays golf and is a regular runner. Kerry, as everyone knows by now, can windsurf ably on Nantucket Sound, although the Average Joe is more likely to turn a windsurfer into chum with his Evinrude than zip up a wet suit and join him.
You have to be careful about these photo opportunities. Bush took the press dove-hunting with him before his 1994 election as Texas governor and proved to be an accurate shot. Unfortunately, he brought down a federally protected killdeer rather than a dove and had to pay the fine.
Field & Stream asked the president a logical question: "What guns do you have in your gun cabinet?"
"A couple deer rifles and a varmint rifle. A .248?" Bush guessed. Ding-ding-ding goes the B.S.-detector. There is no such thing as a .248 caliber rifle. (Of course, there's no such thing as an Iraqi WMD either, but that didn't stop Bush.)
"You mean, perhaps, a .243?" lofted the interviewer. Right, Bush said, swinging for the softball. "A .243. Beg your pardon."

As I recall, Clinton did the same thing.
Kerry has simply engaged in the obligatory, and atavistic, "hunt scene" campaign promo.
Nothing new, really. Bush clears brush and rides a mountain bike. Check.

Clearing brush & riding a mountain bike (& falling off a Segway) didn't contradict a lifetime record of voting for anti gun bills.
It's as if Kerry, lacking substance of his own, needs the substance of conservatism to form any kind of identity.
I completely agree. The Democrat's asinine stance on gun control costs them millions of votes every election. We need to get rid of the vegan hippie wackos and the Carrie Nation ban-everything types and concentrate on integrity, sound policy and common sense.Originally posted by: PingSpike
Who cares, PETA is not a group worth pandering to and they'll likely waste their votes on Nader or something anyway.
