Hmm,
Sorry to break it to you, but it is basically a Jap car with Ford badges applied to it.

Not designed or produced anywhere near Japan so why on earth would you say something ridiculous like that?

Only thing it shares now with the Mazda6 is the chassis and the 2.5 I4 motor otherwise nothing else is shared.

All this bull shit could be summarized in one sentence: Duratec 25 is a different name and badge slapped on Mazda MZR 2.5L engine.

Why would this matter?

Ford owned Mazda before the recession. They sold their controlling stake in Mazda to raise capital, but still share a lot of platform and engine technology with them.

No car is truly domestic or foreign these days.

Little explanation of these pics, I took all these pictures when the car was fresh of the dealership lot. Which explains the dashboard having only 15 miles on it, now I have 10,000! And as of right now averaging out my tanks of gas I have a long term fuel economy of about 47.3MPG

Sweet, thanks for breaking tables. Something REALLY needs to be done about the absurdly large images that keep getting posted. I should not have to side scroll on a 1440 wide screen.

i had to scroll on my 1680 monitor. he's probably on a laptop, and there aren't that many that go past 1440 (unless you like 'em huge), so it's a reasonable gripe.

lose pictures are lose.

NADA rates the 2010 Fusion's 5-year cost of ownership as "below average" compared to other cars in it's class (Mazda6, Camry, Accord).
