Poor stitching, nothing more. Idiotic journalist trying to make it racial for hits.

Apparently not to the OP or the story writers in the OP.

Nice try at downplaying that.

To make my position clear, I do not think the color of the extra 'shopped' folks (if that is indeed what happened) is germane, but I did quote the title of the article I linked to.

I have never seen that happen with stitching. It's cloning since photoshop would not be confused by the support beams.

Even if it was though it's still a blatant manipulation since tripled the size of the crowd.

Well that settles it, since YOU have never seen a bad stitch job before, and we all know you've seen them all, then it is definitely manipulation trying to make it look like more white people.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:x100000

I don't appreciate that kind of juvenile tone and response.

A quick google search shows what the venue looks like and it looks like those support beams don't even exist.

What good does it do anyways to make the crowd at a Romney event look more white? Does the left even think about their attacks before they conduct them.

It would be far more scandalous and newsworthy if they were doing the opposite, I would think.

It had nothing to do with making it look more white, it had to do with making the event look larger. All the people are white, so copying and pasting is just going to end up with more white people.

You guys are missing the point.

Hold, I think I have a care comin....shit, just lost it.

That's kind of my point, the stitch is so bad a three year old can see it, to try claiming this was manipulated to show more "white people" is so fucking stupid it's beyond words.

Definitely a bad clone job, and an obvious one at that.

I've been doing panoramic stitching since before most people ever heard of it. Edit: I'll retract my claim that this couldn't have been bad auto-stitching. But if it is, it's the worst I have ever seen. I think it unlikely.

I see no reason to introduce race into the issue. If they were cloning the crowd, they were cloning whoever was there.

No, you're trying to make a point that isn't there.

It's not curved, it's angled. You can see some angled supports here.

They seem to be going in the other direction, but it's hard to tell.

Regardless, what would he gain by adding in a column that doesn't exist? It makes the image look a lot worse.

Sadly, candidates are free to photoshop images to their heart's content because 99% of voters won't hear about it and the 99% that do won't understand it.

WE ARE THE 1% OF THE 1%. :)

Well not that it matters but Obummers and Romneys crowds are rarely shown in 2012. His crowds durring the nomination run was pitifull. When Obummers has 97% of the black vote its not strange to see whites crowds . The same applies to obummer rallies . The number of blacks voting obummer turns off the whites
