Anybody watching this? Three, count them, THREE Int. TDs by the Vikings...haha. And they're being outscored on the offense too.

The Giants are a terrible, mediocre team at best, and Eli has yet to show me why there was such a fuss about him on draft day. Overrated to say the least.

But the Vikings defense has certainly stepped up.

Giants and Vikigns is a weird series. Back when Vikings were good and Giatns were mediocre Giants would always go into Minneapolis and destroy the Vikings. Looks like Vikings are paying back now.

Also, people keep saying how Giants o-line doesn't get credit - well, today's game is the reason why. Vikings were in Giants backfield on almost every passing game.

My Vikes played well on both sides on the ball today. I can't believe they have a shot at the wildcard now.

I hate the Vikings. I'm a lifelong Vikes fan...and i hate them this year. They keep winning games like this...just to give us all hope...but everyone knows they'll choke on it and not make the playoffs. :|

The Giants are certainly not a terrible team and they are much better than mediocre. They did play a terrible game though. And yes, Eli is a bust.

I wouldn't call him a bust, he's definitely better than 50% of the QBs out there. The problem is, he was not worth what was given up for him.

Wow, I sure didn't expect the Giants to implode like that. They had the lock on the top wildcard spot, but it's wide open now especially considering the Gmen have to face the Pats in their last game of the season. The Giants odds of making the playoffs went down considerably today.

50% of the QB's in the league suck.
But I used to think like that. I have now decided that he's a bust and the Giants aren't going anywhere with him at QB. And it's not just on the basis of this game. He constantly makes terrible decisions, underthrows receivers, doesn't get rid of the ball, etc. And when he looks good, just look at the great plays his receviers are making on each pass. He has tremendous weapons on offense, and his pass % is still trash. I've been hearing for years how he's improving, and I totally bought in. But he hasn't improved. What we see now is what he is. A subpar QB.

What are you talking about.

NYG 7-4
DET 6-5
ARI 5-6
WAS 5-6

Giants still have the #5 seed. They play Chicago, Philly, Washington, Buffalo, and the Pats. Possible 4/5 right there.

Detroit still has to play Dallas, San Diego, and Green Bay. Arizona has Cleveland (yes Cleveland) and Seattle. The Giants have already beaten Washington in the first time they met.

I feel about the same way, although I don't think he's impossible to win with. Giants won with Hostetler (sp) after all. It's just that Giants built the team around Eli, and he's not that kind of QB. He needs to be limited to 15-20 throws per game and Giants need to go back to defense-first style of football.

Considering Eli would have already had three games like today last year, I'd say that's progress.

I don't care if we flop in the playoffs like usual, but to play spoilers to the Patriots would be sweet :D

Sorry to drudge this up...

Why do all the commentators say "Ohh well they [Giants] were having an off game", "Eli blah blah blah", "Injured Players, Blah I'm a tool blah"

The Vikings played a fucking good game. Screw all the excuses, all of the Fox commentators took the Giants as the pick of the day. Then rather than praising the Vikings for playing a good game they talked about how the viGiants played poorly because of blah blah blah.

Funny as I was typing this there was a "Eli Manning can't be stopped Eco Watch" commercial on. Yeah, he sucks balls and got stopped like a robber at a Dunkin' Doughnuts.

Yeah, I don't know that the Giants are particularly terrible, just that the Vikings had one hell of a game and ripped the field up.

I think it was a combo of Giants suckage and Vikings playing real well.

NFL Network sucks balls. They blamed it all on Eli. OK so, say Eli didn't throw 3 Int for TD. Subtract 21 points. The Vikings are still up 20 to 17. No love for teams that aren't willing to pay up I guess.

Point taken, yet if Eli doesn't throw those 4 picks then they would have had the ball more to outscore minnesota.

Much better than mediocre? Really? 7-4 in the NFC? I would call them above average but I wouldn't say MUCH better than mediocre. That's like saying the Seahawks are much better than mediocre.

I know you are a Giants fan and I agree you have a decent team (with 3 of your 4 losses being to 10-1 teams) but don't go too crazy.

I'm now convinced that the giants smoke weed before every game. Maybe if they stick a Hershey bar on the ball they'll play better.

Complete lack of motivation or energy.

They couldn't beat Miami they way they're playing right now. They got lucky with Detriot. Which was a boring game.

As for Manning Jr....He doesn't have a quick release and buckles under pressure in the pocket. His ball control just plain sucks and he has block feet.

What are you talking about? The Giants have played good football up until this week.
I agree about Eli.
