I am anxiously awaiting the release of ( ), the new album by Sigur Ros. I think this one is going to have a studio quality version of njosnavelin (I know I didn't spell it right, but any fan knows what it is). Here is a link. This is some of the best music out there, imo. Am I the only Sigur Ros fan here, or are there others waiting to get this. And yes, I am actually going to purchase the CD. This should show how much I like them.

I bought the Vines' CD, and I think it sucks. (does that show how much I like them?)

Anyways, i've never heard of Sigur Ros, I'll check them out~

Heard parts of their first album. People I know who like Radiohead as much as I do were recommending it to me. I found it a little hard to get into though.

If you like Radiohead definitely check them out, but don't expect Radiohead II here. They have almost nothing in common except for the creativity and artistic talent they share. In fact I think that Sigur Ros is light years ahead of Radiohead. If you like Sigur Ros, I would also check out Mogwai (my favorite band evar btw).

I'v had it on my computer for over a week now and I must say its good, its realy good :D
Though its not in my opinion as "solid" as Ágætis Byrjun its still the same good. The bad side is that there are some songs that so far have not cought my interest, but the good ones even top the best songs on their old cd. I will probably have to listen to it more before I rate it.
Another thing that I'm kinda disapointed by is that there are only 8 songs on the cd, but whats surprising or not surprising is that each song is on average 9min long, shortest 6:33 and longest 12:59, overall 1:11:36 playtime :)

will definetly buy this one

yeah, i luv mum too. is it darker than their old albulm? I've heard that the first part is like the old one, but then it gets darker?

mum's new album? well I only own their new album and not the old one, only heard a few of their old songs. The new one is darker yes, which in my opinion makes it better :)
