yea it just might be the last straw on the camel's back. If you dont mind me asking, how much are you paying for DirectTV? and how do you like the quality of their HD channels compared to comcrap?

My fiance just said $50, and we have an boatload of channels. She called them up one day after paying our comcrap bill and got a deal with them. I would suggest doing the same. The quality is just as good as comcast, we are still getting used to it.
My only complaint so far was the idiot installer, but once he set up the dish and sealed the cable through the wall, we were good to go.

How do the networks work in HD with DirecTV? My TV doesn't have a tuner so I have to rely on the receiver for that, or I'd just use OTA signals. I know HD with locals over satellite has been an issue in the past, but I don't know what the current situation is.

bah just found out directTV doesnt carry Zee TV. Dont have the heart to take away that channel from my mom cuz that's all she watches. Onto Dish Network
