I was very impressed with the color nook @ B&N the other day, seems it's been rooted.

IMHO, it's the Android tablet to buy right now if you're into a bit of hacking...

It's a lot of tablet for $250

B&N has a promotion, each $100 worth of gift cards you buy today gets you $10 of gift cards redeemable after the 26th.

I bought $300 worth of GC's so it covered the taxes with the $30 worth of promotional GC's I'll redeem for a case later this month.

Will root and hack it in a bit. The clerk at B&N had already heard about the hacking & has one reserved for himself.

Did you create 3 separate bn account for 3 different gift cards? I want to jump on the deal but the rules state only one $100 gift card for person/address. $220 is hot for tablet with this spec. It's like a bigger verison of droid x. Same cost as 8gig ipod touch.

Have you missed the multiple times Google has stated that currently there are no minimum requirements for Gingerbread?

Why do I even come to these subforums? All they do is make me broke. I'm gonna try to do a stealth buy of the Nook Color since I told my GF I'd lay off the gadgets for a bit. Whoops. :sneaky:
