Crazy price for a Chrome OS system but assuming everything else is decent you could always stick Windows 8 on it since it's all standard Intel hardware.
32GB of local storage. No.
I didn't think they could top the silliness that was the Nexus Q. But boy, they really worked overtime! :whiste:
Any one else think that machine is really ugly? Like, super ugly.
Also, 3:2 aspect ratio... interesting.
WTF^googol
The thing is, people aren't laughing at the hardware, which is worth $1300 (typical ultrabook specs with better screen), but the OS, which makes it impossible to justify spending so much money on a web browser. Also, 32GB of local storage. What are they smoking?
Bland maybe but I wouldn't say ugly.
I kind of like the aspect ratio, it would be nice if one of the Windows OEMs would use this panel in a ultrabook.

I would also say that this indicates that, at least for now, these ultra-high DPI displays like in the rMBP and this machine are EXPENSIVE.
They did?Yeah, the crazy thing is they actually nailed the hardware which is usually where companies screw it up.
They did?
Middling battery, active cooling... Weight is passable for a sub-13". Ultimately they just made another one of the not-great compromises we have this year until ARM beefs up and/or Intel scales down. Yeah, nice panel, whatever.

When it's an Apple refurb, yes it is. But here's their edu non-refurb pricing:It's not fair to compare refurbished prices to new ones.
