wow dennilfloss, you're amazing..

inspiring actually..

one problem, if more people are going to do this like you, we should have a list of people who have been contacted already, so we don't get on anyone's nerves..

I have a list but it's on paper because the PM history gets erased periodically. People should emulate my efforts, not strictly copy my method. I am housebound, so I do not meet many people with computers. You guys do and some of you work in places that have them. I think that a common list would be very hard to keep up to date. Plus that would reveal all the people who declined and I'm not willing to do so. People have the right not to join our effort for whatever reason is important to them. I will not have people ostracized because they said no.

Soccerman - But you post recruiting threads and try and help the team. Plus, every block counts and everyone is not going to have a ton of computers. If bunches more like you joined with just one PC each and a desire to get others to join, the DPC would be toast (as would all the SETI teams above us as well).

Prophetic words Michael...

Do you know even one person, who knows one person, who knows one person (you get the point)

For the sake of argument lets say we have 700 active people.
In one week - all 700 get one person to join TA. We now have 1400
In the next week all 1400 get one person. We now have 2800

Two weeks to trounce the DPC. The real answer should be plenty obvious. The question is... how many of those 700 can we reach, and how many would follow through? - If this is truly a team, then no one can stop us. What'll it be?

I only have one PC at home. A measly Celeron 500. That did not stop me from recruiting. I started with just one person.

And now, the newest Borg, bigcfromcinci walks in softly, carrying a big 1GHz Tbird and says:" Hio pilgrim! Where are them DPC rascals?" :)

Welcome to the team. We appreciate your help. :)

Hey! With news like this you are always welcome in my threads! :p

Welcome to the team. That is a lot of firepower and it will help us a great deal. Maybe more will follow your example too. Wanna be an Integral and have a cool Borg page to display your substantial herd? You could still follow your stats by flushing through Mika's proxy and you could help TA Cube kick bigger DPC ass and rise faster in the world rankings (currently #40). ;)

WE LOVE YOU, MAN!!! :):):)

You have 30 days to think about joining any miniteam and no one will bear you any ill if you decide to go it alone or choose another miniteam. I definitely won't as your block are going to Team AnandTech anyway. The reason I mentioned TA Cube is that we are now entering the top40 spacemeanies club and climbing even one position will now require a lot of firepower. The Borg want your technology to add it to our distinctiveness and...kick...ass. ;)

Congratulations on your herd being even more impressive. :) Just make sure that you have permission for all those machines. That is paramount.
