the novelty of it will wear off eventually but i love the "happy hour" drink discount.

also fritos and chili pie... mmmm.

This. A Route 44 drink for $1 is a steal.

As is the fat and weight you'll put on by drinking the pure sugar that is a Route 44 😛

There's only one Sonic in all of Los Angeles/Orange County and it's in Anaheim so every so often if I go visit my buddy over in Fullerton we'll go to Sonic and get some happy hour slushies and a burger. It's decent food for a chain but nothing to go crazy over. The half price slushies though are practically the only reason we go.

I drive from central NJ to right outside of Philly to get my Sonic fix, take the bf on a little roadtrip once in awhile 🙂

At least 60 miles each way

Woot! Finally, Sonic's are showing up in the Northwest.

I discovered we have one about 30 miles from my house....

I visit family all the time in OKC, and there are Sonic's every 150 feet.......I freaking love me some Cherry Limeaid.

Road trip this weekend!

i used to live in edmond for the longest time (10+ years), and after moving to chicago, i realized that we didnt have sonic and missed it as well. i mean, now theres a few, but still nowhere near the amount that oklahoma had.

and yes, cherry limeaid FTW!

edit: your parents live by oak tree???

we used to live in glen eagles - its a neighborhood near quail springs mall, a sonic (of course), waffle house, lexus dealership, and i think a walgreens now (havent been back since 2004). western ave and memorial road i believe.

I'm sorry.

Sonic is terrible. And it's always crowded. It's the fast food equivalent of primetime television: it's utter shit and people can't get enough of it.

I have 2 Sonic's within 10 miles and a 3rd one 15 miles away. It's not bad for fast food. I LOVE the drink selection. We'll stop sometimes just to get a drink lol. They also have AWESOME "extreme tots". They do not advertise it on the menu, but it's tater tots with chili and all sorts of other stuff on top. They have it around here at least.

The food must be much better at yours.

I see these "I LOVE ME SOME SONIC" posts all the time and am never quite sure whether to be envious because their Sonic must be so much better than the ones we have here...or to laugh because they obviously have such poor taste in food.

The Sonics here all suck.

What do you mean finally? Is the Northwest only your city? There's 2 of them within 20 miles of me.
