so after years of staying with my father and seeing him change his attitude in the 7 years ive lived at this house i am finally moving out. Basically since my parents divorced for the second time, my dad changed dramatically.
He used to take me out on my birthday, to see a movie, eat or something along those lines. Gradually it became like, he would come home from work and everyday for the past 3-4 years the only words we would say to each other would be.. "what do you want to eat" and such.
We argued about everything, but mostly matters about my mother and such. He tried to get a restraining order against my mom from seeing me because she dropped off food. Too bad she came back and sued him and won.. Other stuff like back when my mom lived here my friends were allowed to come over, hang out, play some game, swim in the pool, play basketball.. you know kid things.
After several lawsuits that my mom made against him for money put in the house, money he stole, he got paranoid of lawsuits. No more basketball because "if they fall on my property im going to get sued". No more swimming because "they dont know how to swim they will drown and i will get sued". No more friends over at all because "what if they fall in the hallway, i will get sued"...wow... fall in the hallway and get sued...
He remarried a few years ago and has another child, my half sister. Recently one of my older cousins came over to lan a little bit. We are sitting here for pretty much all day and havent ate yet. All of a sudden i come out into the kitchen to get some water and oo look theres some fried chicken he bought. Next thing he said.. "dont eat any.. its for the rest of the family"... wow dont eat any even though me and my cousin have been starving all day and he didnt even tell us there was chicken. So me in my pissy mood, took a bunch of chicken for me and my cousin to eat and he comes in telling me why did we eat the chicken. another arguement blah blah blah
Fast forward to today
Another argument, i was at my aunts house, because several relatives came over from Vegas, Vietnam, New Jersey, New York so i was over there pretty late. No car ride home, and i figure sure ill stay here for the night, we're all family anyways. I told my dad earlier that day that i will be at my aunts house til very late.
Next morning i came home, he started yelling at me like "why didnt you tell me where you were". Ok.. i said my aunts house. "why didnt you tell me that you were staying there". Laying on the couch makes you sleep unpredictably but ok my fault. "I coulda been sued if something happened to you". W .. T... F... so he cares more about being sued than me..
some back talk blah blah then this..
Dad: If you wanna ****** leave then get the ****** out.
Me: Fine then, why couldnt you say that sooner, go to your ****** lawyer and start the papers.
Now its been about a month, the papers are done, and now he has to sign and pay about 800-900 bucks a month in child support. Im happy, DSL wont be up for a few days, so see ya ATOT in a few days =)
