Like everything the GOP "stands for" it is only lip service to get votes. The only part of the military the Republicans like are the arms dealers. They have no interest in the people fighting and dying. They have no problems giving heaps of money to Lockheed and Raytheon, but will scoff at paying for a veterans health care.

They'll kiss butts and wave flags and cry at military funerals in order to look good and curry favor with their voting base. But they do not actually care about veterans. In fact I think Obama actually did more for the VA and vets in general than the last several republicans.
