Did anyone else find this movie disappointing?? I thought it was dumb... the only funny scene in that movie was when Ben Stiller had a cameo... btw I'm excited about seeing dodgeball...

I thought it was disappointing too. I was expecting more funny parts. Still, it was worth the money to see.

I thought the part where the weatherman was talking about periods and bears was hilarious... and when the Anchorman was drinking milk in the hot weather. Overall it wasn't as funny as I thought it would be either.

Ron Burgundy: The Germans discovered it in 1904, and they called it "San Diego", which in German means "whale's vagina".
Veronica Corningstone: Really?
Ron Burgundy: I don't know. I was just trying to impress you. I don't think anyone knows what it means anymore. The translation was lost hundreds of years ago.
Veronica Corningstone: Doesn't it mean "Saint Diego"?
Ron Burgundy: ...No.
Veronica Corningstone: No, I'm pretty sure that's what it means.
Ron Burgundy: Agree to disagree.

Ron Burgundy: I'm Ron Burgundy. Go fvck your self San Diego.

Brick Tamland: while talking about what they love, Brick is glancing around the room... I love carpet. I love desk. I love lamp.
Ron Burgundy: Are you sure? Or are you just looking at things?
Brick Tamland: I love lamp! I LOVE LAMP!

Bah. All of you people who didn't like it must not appreciate the little bits of humor that are strewn about in this movie. "I just burned my toune." That guy was hilarious every time he spoke.

Yeah, the movie had its moments, i especially like the part with Jack Black when he dropped kicked the dog!!
Did you know that a woman's period attracts bears? they can smell the menstraution.

the dog was punted, thanks 🙂

Brick Tamland: I killed a man with a trident.
Ron Burgundy: Yeah, I've been meaning to talk to you about that. Maybe you should find yourself a safe house or a close relateve. Lay low for a while, because you may be wanted for murder.

the more of these i read the funnier the movie seems when i think about it

will farrell is stupid, thus it's stupid.

ben stiller > will farrell

I agree, never been disappointed with ben stiller
Dodgeball had the exact same type of humor as this movie. Zoolander, Old School, Starsky and Hutch, Dodgeball and Anchorman are probably five of the funniest movies ever, and have the same people in pretty much all of them (Stiller, the Wilsons, Vince Vaughn and Will Ferrel).

i liked it a lot, was laughing throughout.

guess that tells you something about my maturity level, huh?

did anyone else notice that there were scenes in the trailer that weren't in the movie? like the part where Ron takes a bullet for the chick.
