Click the 'Free through D-Day button'

From what my pop told me, his uncle served during the occupation of Japan as a Master Sergeant in the Army doing some supply related stuff. I'll get his name and give it a try.

Do some research and post your findings!

Interesting concept, but their site is slow-to-unresponsive for me.

Edit: Sent my grandfather's records back to my family, thanks.

Thanks.

I was surprised to find people with my last name fought in the Civil War, although I doubt any of them are related to me since my family didn't move here until the 1930s. Could be a different branch of the family tree that moved here earlier... my name is very uncommon here, not sure how common it is in Spanish speaking countries. I've always wanted to research my family tree, maybe I'll finally pay up and see what I find.

That add isn't showing up for me.

Very cool! I'll have to look up my grandpa when I have time later. He served during WWII.
