Anarchy Online?

Does anyone here play this game? I know initially there were some major problems with it. Have they corrected these problems? Would you suggest this game and its monthly fee to other people, namely myself?

I used to really enjoy playing Ultima Online, and I would like to try another MMORPG, but I want to make sure it's going to be worth it first.

I think I saw on Fileplanet a free 7 day trial for AO. Might want to give that a shot. Personally, I play DAOC a lot, which I find to be very good. But, different strokes for different folks.

I played AO for a month or so. I had a lvl 23 Fixer. I stopped playing b/c it was so repetitive. you just keep doing missions and collecting pieces of armor.

I heard they released the story for the game, but i dunno if any of the gameplay is story driven or not.

give it a shot. It's a nice release from all the fantasy MMORPG's out there.

I also played it the first month it was released and cancelled because of problems. Everyone that had it and cancelled is being offered another month free now so I may go back and check it out. Very cool concept, just not implemented very well at the start.

This game had huge potential, but the basis of the game has been changed too much. They are trying to find a balance and its taken them forever. I'm still paying for my acount in hopes that it will make a turnaround but as of now I dont think it will. May end up selling my level 100 Agent

Yeh I heard that AO was pretty much a bomb unless your the type that LOVES spending hundreds of hours trying to upgrade your gear with marginally better gear.

DAoC I might try out because the Realm vs Realm seems interesting and also it seems to have somewhat more of a story. Also Mythic has been promising continual DAoC updates and they still have 100% of their staff workin on DAoC at the moment and for the fore-seeable (spellin off, its almost 2am shoot me) future.
