It's better described as "anarchy for rich people." Because they will tell the landless masses, what to do, where to go, what laws applyto them, how much they can make on thier own property. Instead you have just privatized "oppression" rather than the "state' doing it by popular vote.

Are you joking me? That is the biggest load of rubbish I have ever heard. Anarcho-capitalism would bring more competition to the marketplace than ever before. That's why many businessmen don't want freedom, they want the protections afforded to them by the state. Don't even get me started on the banks...

Wow, total wow. Thats really close to a working definacation of America today. Its not prefict but its closer than any I've seen. Ive been trtying to describe the world I live in and this hits close to home. again not prefict but closer than any I've seen.

How do we allocate land? How about public lands? Drilling rights? Mining? Whos to stop a Rockerfeller, someone who already has major capital under the old system you dispise, from building an army and taking any land he wants?

Pretty much and why you see virtual monopolies like HomeDepot stiffling opportunity. Go ahead and try and open a hardware store under this "free" market, if you're not bankrupt in a year I'd be surprised. You costs will be higher due to lack of buying power, and you'll have lack of selection and if Home Depot wants, they'll slash prices temporaly to really put the screws on you, course thier other stores will pick up any loses from such a temporary setback.

BTW where you going to get the money to open? SBA, which gave millions of wealthy americans a head start, no longer exists under archno capitalism.

Land, drilling rights and mining are all a small percentage of the GDP. However, let me ask you this. How was the computer you are using right now 'allocated?' I am assuming that you bought it from someone who transferred it to you. And now, society at large believes you are the owner of such computer. No deeds or government needed.

What would stop rockefeller from building an army and taking any land he wants? The same thing that stops Bill Gates from doing it today: collectivised security. Although, it would not be collectivised in the sense that you would have some tax and spend scheme. It would be collectivised within large firms that would be bigger than any single individual.

A common complaint about this is what if these large firms got together, formed a monopoly and tried to push everyone around. Well, unlike the government, which people believe to have absolute authority over them, these firms would be met with physical violence from the heavily armed general population. Hence, the firms would be much larger than any force a single or even band of individuals could muster, but still not large enough to take over the country.
