Count me in, I'd prefer 2 on 2, or even higher as big teams are where the fun happens... but if it comes down to it, I'd play solo as well
 
I'll join. Though I haven't plain in a while. But I was a lvl 9 player at one time. Prefer anything but solo. PM me.

I was thinking next weekend but if we could pull it together for this weekend, that would be good. Sunday perhaps?
 
Weekends are weak for me, except for every other one where my wife works. I have lots of time during the week if someone wants to play 🙂

I'm good for all three also. I'm gong to suck though since I haven't played in so long. I used to play A LOT though.

I'm in too. At one point was like 30-2 in 2v2's 🙂. I'm in for 2v2 (i'll bring my own partner) or solo
 
the tournament did not take place this weekend. I will post rules + times tonight and we can have it next weekend.
 
OK, Lets set the time and date now. Sunday, January 19, 2002 at 3 pm EST on US East server in channel ATOT. We'll start with the solo tournament. Based on the number of respondents, I expect 2 hours of time for the tournament. After that, we can have the 2v2 tournament. That will start at 5pm on the same day or when the solo tournament finishes, whichever is later. If you do not have a partner and want to participate in the 2v2, feel free to come and we can try to pair you up with someone.

All games will be on ladder maps that will be announced at the start of the tournament. I will fill in the brackets at the beginning of the tournament and announce match-ups then. Be on time to enter in the tournament.

Some general rules:
1) save all replays in case there is any dispute about the winner.
2) allow any observers that want to watch but if the players request you to leave because of lag, please do so promptly.
3) Lets have fair games, no map hacks or disconnect hacks. This is just for fun and maybe 5 minutes of bragging rights. Along the same lines, no farm hiding if you clearly lost.
4) If someone disconnects and the game was not CLEARLY determined in someone's favor at that point, we will allow one chance to start over.
5) No limits on strategies. If you want to go mass something, tower up, etc., do so at your own peril. 😛

Any comments? These are by no means absolute and we can work on anything if it causes significant upset.
