What spec is that rig?
Dual Broadwell-EPs with 14 core processors (multiple of 7, awkward) and 22 core processors (multiple of 11, most awkward).

Edit,
I am trying smaller slot sizes, and slot sizes which can be factored into 2 and 3, but I'll probably give up on this and rather save on electricity costs.
I set the 56-thread machines to one 48-thread slot, and the 88-thread machines to one 64-thread slot + a 24-thread slot, and keep them at F@h until Rosetta has tasks again. Electricity bill comes second in these times of crisis. ;-) :-/

We're almost at +7.5% of TA's overall total in 18 days

Started March 18th, had 40,450,303,145 points
Currently April 5th, have 43,513,174,259 points
Total gain : 3,062,871,114 points

Needed for +10% : 4,045,030,315 ( 982,159,201 away)
Should easily get it by the end of the contest

Looks like I'll pass Orenj before @borandi passes me. So I'll get to stay in the top 50 even as Orenj gets "crushed". ;)

Edit: Speak of the :smilingimp:, I posted this before I saw @borandi posted!

Meh, I should be doing at least 1M PPD. I've only pause FAH when I’m playing games. I think I’m below 500K due to the lack GPU units (had to switch client-type to advanced to get any).

I wish I could open my windows more. My two indoor cats aren't too bright... Need to get those screens but UK windows aren't built for them

For those interested, here is a good depiction of how proteins are involved and makes clear, to me anyway, that what we are doing may actually end up helping. Of course the guys in the labs will crack this but our work just might help.

every one in the house, including the front door and the back sliding door have been open all day ! The only thing I close up at night are the front foor, and the back slider.
Window fans? Maybe there is just not enough air flow.

Years ago, CPU folding only era, I had 4 systems folding in one bedroom. Even though I had central air - I had to buy an AC unit for the window to keep temps from climbing up to the mid to upper 80s In the summer.

I have a box fan at one end of the house, and a 18 inch desk fan at the other end. They run 24/7

Its hard to comprehend how much heat 500 cores and 12 top tier video cards produce. You know my electric bill is $800 a month

Wow, my wife would kill me over an $800/mo electric bill! Never mind the cost of all that hardware o_O

When I told my wife how much a 2080 Ti was going to cost, she quickly shot that down. I then mentioned it was going towards a good cause, so she reluctantly agreed. That, and I told her she can get that designer purse she’s been eyeing when this pandemic is done. :p

Note: I live in Penrith, NSW and the latest summer we peaked at 120f(49c) :D

God that's way too hot to sleep in! ;) (at least much over 25C).

A pity you can't harvest some of that heat & turn it back into electricity!, use a large peltier cooler in reverse?? ;), or use to it to heat your hot water? (cut the bill there!) That sounds more plausible :).

Btw what does a timed out WU mean? Expired I understand, but timed out seems like doubling up.

Yeah i believe it just my 7700k and 1080ti and this tower heats up here at least 15 degrees i swear. Worst if i fold, leave pc on and watch t.v on my 40'' 4k which sits near it in front of my bed.
