Yes and no for me. i set up a race for mostly just myself with settings for our race. had a couple people join so i at least started the race and raced it. Id definitely rather be more of a backup option as i dont use my mic hardly at all since the gf is usually around and dont want to feel silly

I just need to practice some more, got Mass Effect 2 and thats been taking up a lot of my time recently.

Just a suggestion, what about changing the last track to the 24 hour layout? It would give a more race day feel like the other tracks instead of a track day with GT300 cars... and I like seeing the bbq smoke around the track.

I'm running about a 1:31 at best so far online with the Cusco, full softs. I think they'd last 15 laps easy at Laguna.

Nice running with you tonight. I'm happy with my setup, looks like the soft tires will make the 15 laps fairly easy. I need to play with my brake bias, I'm wearing front tires much faster than the rears.

My car isnt sorted yet but I don't think my front will last half race distance. You guys were fast... I was losing a second per lap at the run up to the corkscrew alone. D:

After 16 laps I still had about half wear on fronts and at least 3/4 left on the rears. I'll adjust brake bias just a little and should even that out. I'm about done practicing on that track, I have another race before ours on Sunday and need to get some laps in on that track.

Nope, no experience setting up a race unfortunately.

Settings will be:
damage: none
penalty: none
no srf
no active steering
no skid recovery
you may use traction control
you may use driving line
you may use abs

If any of you guys are up late (after 9-10pm cst) tonight or tomorrow, I'll probably be on practicing. Three of us were on there last night, it's good to get used to running with other cars on track. If anyone is interested, let me know and I'll open a room instead of using my lounge, that way everyone won't have to be in friends list.

i just got my fanatec gt3 set up...wow, what a badass wheel

i'm still not quite used to it yet, this is a big departure from the driving force gt i was using previously

Would any of the guys who offered to host the race please pm me as early as possible today? I'd like to have the room open early for this first race, just to make sure everyone knows how to find it and how everything works. If we could get the room open by 7pm CST it should give everyone time to find the room and get settled in by time to start.

Race time is still set for 8pm CST!

If anyone has any questions on how this works, post them today, I'll be checking in on this thread throughout the day.

We almost have to use open lobby, with a lounge, everyone that's in the race needs to be on you psn friends list.

If you want to host, you can just create the room and then post the room number in this thread.

Nice.... what did you name it? Probably should be something like "AT GT300 League Race" something like that to try to keep general public out.

I just ran a few laps, everything seems to be working well!

I'll probably just be idle in the room most of the day as well. Ill be switching between watching the Rolex 24, homework, and GT5.
