I'd be surprised if anyone gets these, and no, so you want to be a hero isn't really the title

Isn't that Quest for Glory? :)

I have the original Quest for Glory.. titled Hero's Quest :) Why did they ever rename it? Still in good condition with the box. It was the first computer game I bought!

Some game publisher already had some copyright to "Hero's Quest" (or maybe it was just "Hero Quest"?) when Sierra released Hero's Quest: So You Want to Be a Hero?. I *think* it was some obscure arcade game so nobody at Sierra could've forseen it. I guess Sierra worked out something to let the original copies sit on store shelves while they renamed the series and worked on the sequels.

I think 4 and 5 gave it away for me even though I never played it: The Adventures of Willy Beamish. Heaven knows Sierra/Dynamix didn't flaunt that enough in their promo magazine. ;)

bastards :p

sigh, the quests ruled, so did willy, i miss those games. Quest for Glory 5 was nice, its a shame they cancelled the series just when the semi next-gen games started heading in the right direction

Definately Subspace/Continum. I haven't seen that plug-in though. I used to play all the time. Is that one mod called WW2?

It's a new zone called Ground Warfare. The great thing about it is its not a plugin. The shipset, graphic, and sound files are all downloaded when you enter the zone. It's amazing what the community has done with the game.

I used to play SubSpace 24-7. I think I am still on the DragonWings squad.

BTW, it may have helped that you had SubSpace linked in your sig.
