Anandtech Sandra High Scores ---- Bring out the P4 C's !! *** ---Yourself takes the lead---Current Leader***

ive been looking for a reason to crank up the voltage on my new P4 2.4B 🙂 ill be back with a good sandra in an hour or so 🙂

8028 with a 2.4B @ 2.89ghz on an Asus P4P8X

The 2.4Cs are gonna kill us all 😉 some 3.6ghz+ ATers around.

You're gonna have to crank that over 3.1 to catch me Acanthus 😛

The C's @ 3.4 and higher might break 10k..

🙂

Shagga still leads..

Sandra Memory Benchmark Scores

Some of your guys' memory scores suck for having such a high CPU score.

Haha, nice Raynor. I wish my cpu would be stable at 1.5v, but im at 1.65v.
Hell, if your not scared to push your vcore, buddy of mine has his 2.4c @ 3.6Ghz,
but hes using a vcore of 1.725v. Heh. He's been running it that way for a while,
stable as a rock. But, thats TOO risky for me.

Note the core voltage 🙂

thats sick! are u gonna push it any further?

I can't, the stock heatsink gets too hot and I can't run stable any faster than that (or with higher voltage) since the temps shoot up and it fails prime95. Also, I think the mobo is on the edge of stability so this is pretty much the end of the road. I was only hoping for 3 GHz with this, the other 300 MHz is just a (very) nice unexpected surprise 🙂

Heh, instant message style 😀

Yeah, that friend of mine is running a ic7/Slk-900u with a Tornado fan.
Im running a is7-e/Slk-900u/smart case fan (original one).
I just want 250fsb/200mhz ram at a 5:4 ratio. But that aint happening.
BTW, what is your components/ratio/ram speed and brand/dual channel? or single?

Wow, I was already excited about getting my new 2.4C (should be coming next week), but 3.3GHz with the retail HSF! 😀 What memory were you using with that?

yes, what memory are you using. as well as, dual? single? ratio? vram? 😀

RAM details

The RAM is actually HyperX PC3000 aand Corsair PC3200 but I got them both before the PC3200 was out so they only have SPDs for PC2700

Dual channel, perf mode is off. Like I said, I am at the edge of stability of my motherboard 🙂

MyName, nice overclock!🙂 What kind of cooling do you have on that bad boy?
