Anandtech Rally Team Thread

If you haven't read about the Rally Team yet, go ahead and check it out here.

Basicially it is a team formed of a bunch of users with one or two computers and the ability to switch to different projects easily. This Rally Team would then go around and focus our crunching power on certain projects TA is faltering in, in an effort to better distribute our power and raise the overall rankings of ALL the projects TA is conducting.

I am hoping for at least 50 people, and if we can get over 100 it would rock. If you are interested in this idea, post your name in this thread and I or somebody else can look at them and make a list of members who would want to be on the Rally Team. So post away if you are interested in the idea, and I will check up on this thread as soon as I can.

I am hoping we could possibly get a website working with a list of members, the current goals of the RT, achievments of the RT, and some other stuff. I can work on the site this weekend if I'm not busy.

I'm in. I've done SETI and DPAD. seti was just to beat bbr and we are #1 in DPAD. I have 2 rigs at home I can "shift" to whatever the rally team is on. =)

Edit, plz contact me though PM or get a website. I cannot keep up with these forums. =)
 
I might be able to help out once SETI1 has finished, depending on what TaBoo is doing, so put me down for a maybe 😉 🙂

What Gleem said. The F@H team is getting beat down lately I don't want to switch too much of my work fleet away from it.
 
Sign me up to shift as needed. I only have a single 3.0Ghz P4 that I can shift. (p3 500Mhz is on a dial up so I just Cache Lifemapper and let it run)
 
Quick update: I'll be out for the most of the next week studying for APs and Finals. I think we should all concentrate on D2OL now, seeing as it has just lost first place. Let's roll.
