edit: The donations are rolling in. Thanks for your support! I won't let you guys down.

edit edit: If you dont' have a sense of humor don't bother reading :p

As a long time Anandtech member (2002) I have enjoyed reading, benefitting from, and contributing to the forum. This time however I need to reach out to everyone to see if I can ask for help. I have had a recent tragedy in my life and I want to get the story out to as many people as possible.

Christmas is a crazy and expensive time for everyone so even if you cannot help maybe you will at least be touched by my story. Thanks for taking time to read the story at the site below and if you can contribute I would be supremely appreciative. Happy holidays to everyone

Sincerely,

cvstrat

"I have been recently receiving a lot of problems from other friends and co-workers. They make comments to me all of the time that they can beat me in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. As you can imagine it is hard for me to listen to these comments and have no way to defend my honor. "

I feel for you but XBox360s are way over rated.

Good luck!

Anyone that needs to advertise that they are "kind and gentle" is probably trying to rip you off. At least that's my view.

I'm not trying to rip anyone off! I'm openly stating that I need an xbox to defend my honor.

when i was like 12, family and i got a group of people together, and bought like $1000 worth of xmas gifts for an adopted family... we drove to the house, and pulled up to a mansion... Pillars over the driveway, covered walk from driveway to house, atleast 5ksqft... but the kids were all adopted... about 5 years later, some lady was shot and killed in a gas station robbery... the dude was one of the kids we donated to...

Wait, so you actually gave them the gifts?

...or at least take advantage of your emotions.

Forgot to add that.

Anyone who has ever had anyone trash talk them should be empathetic. I must prove them wrong.... In the spirit of Christmas and kittens of course.

Or.......you could get a job or a second job and buy your own $400 console and nice job on having to beg for the MW2 console and not a regular old 360...bravo.

And just to make it sting a bit more,a pic of my MW2 360 console I bought on release day......enjoy....:awe:
