Anandtech needs to have some sort of point rewarding system

Crying for something on Anandtech has as much of a chance of happening as enacting change in the US government.

I think christianforums.com has some sort of "blessings" reputation. And I think if you have a paid subscription, you can hand out more blessings.

Pretty silly concept, but I think it works as currency to get the quality and helpfulness of posts up...

Out of curiosity, do you think it makes the overall forum a better place though?
 
I think when you receive help it is nice to show graciousness through a simple PM, and then try to help that person in anyway you can.
 

I'd rather see Anandtech put a mandatory spell-check on the reply box, so it won't post until the spellin's right. Ha
 
Why bother with a point system.

It will still be about the post count. For some reason sitting in front of your computer all day and posting makes you smarter than everybody else.

I can't believe how many 20,000+ poster's words are accepted as gospel. It's ironic, because if they spent more time living, instead of posting about it maybe they would actually be an authority on something.

I didn't mind it, it was kinda fun 🙂

We do have a rewards system in place...if you're helpful enough, you get to be an Elite member.
