Hello. I'm new here. I've been at HARDOCP for years (about 2008), but wanted to branch out.

I was out of computers from summer 2013 until Oct 2019, due to hardships. Then i just wanted to come back and play my MMOs I had accounts on, like Mortal Online and EVE, and also Mech Warrior Online.

And then. . .I discovered ARGB. lol Back in 2013, cold cathode was just catching on. This was my first 'modern' RGB build, and first ITX build, in various stages.

CASE: Corsair Crystal 280
MB: Gigabyte B450 ITX
CPU: Ryzen 3600
CARD: 3060Ti (and an old ASUS 580 I think)
RAD: Enermax Aquafusion 240
CASE FANS: Noctua 140mm Redux, Painted white (Frame only) with Phanteks RGB (Also painted white)
Custom 12V strips soldered to size because the board only has ONE ARGB and ONE RGB header, and nothing fit to my needs.

^^^^Lighting is not my thing however beautiful work. Machine looks so clean.

Thanks guys. I'm currently building in Thermaltake's The Tower 100. However, due, again, to life's changes, my heart isn't into it. I initially was going to do my first custom loop in it. Now, I'll be lucky to even get it built I'm so disinterested in it. I had a bottom 1/2" piece of acrylic I had cut to the case's dimensions, and was going to light it, but not now. Just no drive. In fact, I think the Tower 100 will be my last display case with RGB. I think I just want as small as build possible while getting enough cooling, and no RGB. I was thinking about the SSUPD Meshlicious Mini-ITX, but damn that's a little hot for my blood $$ wise.

I picked up the Corsair LC100 triangles and added them to my case. It's overpriced at the $130 MSRP but I got one for $75 on ebay.

Like the Fanatical Meathead above, I'm not really into all the "cool colored lights" much. Some look hella nice...some look gaudy. Yours is pretty clean
The only part of my PC that's lit at the moment is the EVGA RTX3070 that has built-in ARGB lighting. I COULD turn it off...but since I can't see the glass door side of the case...I just leave it for now. I considered adding some ARGB strips to the top/bottom mesh vents in the Dark Base Pro 900 Rev.2 case...not sure it would be worth the work. Like you, the last time I built a rig, (2011) cold cathode was the "cat's pajamas." I wasn't cool enough to bother.

I finished this yesterday. I wanted an all white build, I came pretty close the GPU is black on the bottom. The Corsair RM850 PSU is white, it's not visible lol, but anyway.

Corsair iCUE 5000X RGB case with the mentioned PSU above.
Asus ROG STRIX X670E-A gaming motherboard.
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 64GB 6400 DDR5.
XFX 7800XT MERC319
Corsair iCUE H150i Elite Capellix XT cooler.

I have 4 ssd's including two 990 Pros and one 4tb spinning disk. I have one more fan that I hoped would fit on the back to exhaust, but it hits the radiator hoses so I'm sending it back. I like how clean it looks, except for a few wires showing which I may fix.

Is there not room to route the 24 pin and the 2-8 pin cables behind the motherboard tray? Or are they not long enough? That would clean up the build quite nicely.

No. I wanted to go over the top and then down, but the AIO doesn't leave room for any clearance. That slot to the right is narrow, and the cables don't bend enough to slip through there. I might try and find a 90 degree 24 pin mount to at least move that.

The desktop in my sig. Doesn't come out well in the photo, but it's just a solid white LED strip around the top, giving it a clean illuminated black component look. Only the GPU has colored LEDs.

I still need to open up my new build and clean up the cable routing a bit. I updated my secondary gamer with a new case, the Corsair 4000X RGB, an XPG 750 watt modular PSU, and a Corsair 280mm AIO just to get it all to fit in the case. The old Vega 64 is liquid cooled so it's got the radiator and fan to deal with. I thought about replacing it, but to replace it cost more than the other mods together so it's still relevant. I have one more 120mm RGB fan I bought but didn't install it yet. I put an old WD 74 Raptor in there just to see what was on it lol.

My desk space I really like the RGB lighting and I can always turn it all off if I get tired of it. The only thing I plan to do is add one more storage drive to my secondary gamer, and change out the keyboard and mouse to wireless on my main PC. I also like the tempered glass over plexiglass as it's crystal clear.

The computer is in my signature. The 5.25in two-way bookshelf speakers and 10in subwoofer are all Klipsch reference series, and they are hooked up to a Klipsch 100w Powergate desktop amplifier.

Edit: Colors were a touch off originally.

My Titan Xp has been retired for a 4080. Repurposed Ncase M1 SSD mounting plates to mount my SSDs beside the 120mm AIO I have installed. The Xp goes to my daughter as an upgrade from the GTX 1070 and the 1070 will go to my brother soon enough.

Case is the Sliger Cerberus (MATX).
