Marilyn was a tremendously sexy woman who had a whole country of men by the short hairs, but is not attractive according to our current waifish standards. To those of you so furious over everyon'es scrutiny of Eakers, stop and think why this is the case. She has basked in the attention of countelss AT geeks, and very well enjoys all the attention she gets from this forum. Now that less-than-flattering pictures (although I don't see anything wrong with them) have been posted, you say its unfair to scrutinze her as people have?

Give me a break. If you want to take the spoils of being a celebrity, whether it be in Hollywood or Anandtech, you better take the toils as well.

No, I only met up with a ton of people today to watch the hockey game, but knew everyone's real first name beforehand anyway. The core group of people who showed are all pretty familiar with each other, we all pop into an IRC channel fairly regularly and keep up with each others' lives. It was nice to put faces to the names. 🙂

Met Windogg, klee58, Zenmervolt, babygirl, Papi (and hubby) today downtown. It was an excellent day for a win, hopefully melly will have THOSE pictures uploaded for viewing here real soon. 🙂

Dude, everyone goes home spring break. We had a small meet a while ago on the UCDavis campus, and got about five people. I think we should do another one. There've been calls for a Sacramento net meet, if you want to travel to Sac.
