I told everyone days ago it would change although few knew about it is what I was saying. I did not, nor have I ever implied that I said it would change today.

whatever dude... you asked when was it changing. you did not say it was changing today or even this week.

this thread is to indicate it DID change. Your the one arguing, and looking like a tool.

It's the same as me posting a thread going... "so.. who thinks a republican will be running for president in 2012" ... and when a republican runs for president, posting a thread saying "see! i told you a republican was running"

Not liking it, you used to be able to see more news without having to scroll down. Less scrolling the better imho.

I think the whole point of the redesign is to get Anandtech back into being "Anand's Blog" ... like it was when it first started.

There's a million places to go for tech news.
CNET is one.

The only people getting "owned" are people pathetic enough to derive pleasure from a supposed "win" in an internet argument. Get a life seriously.

guyver lack of comprehension clearly has not caused him to "own" anyone. I simply stated I told everyone the site was to be redesigned, and a few people did not believe me. I said "I told everyone this days ago, no one listened." What I "told" everyone was the site was changing. Internet warrior guyver for the sake of trying to "pwn" someone, turning my statement into implying something it did not.

My point. Some people doubted the site's new design existed and hardly nothing was mentioned about it prior indicated hardly no one knew about this.

I'm right, you and guyver are wrong and cannot read. I rest my case.

LOL... now who's having reading comprehension failure? noone ever said the redesign wasn't happening. People doubted it was happening anytime soon. Hell... they told us for 3 years that we were switching to VB "soon" so you can understand people's aprehension and doubt over the use of the term "soon"

I like it. I just think they should widen it some so there isn't so much lost space on the sides....

it looks fine @ 1280*1024. I guess if you are full screening it at 1920x1200 it would look strange but who does that?

I like the color and styling, but the layout of endless cascading news articles in no particular category is a bad idea.

You know, with articles only written every few days, a blog format will just emphasize the lack of content.. Unless they start using syndicated pieces.

looks nice, I think the header is way too big though. The buttons seem obnoxiously big

The only thing I don't like is how DailyTech isn't split up by days. Guess I could just go to the actual site, but I like looking over there and seeing what's new to read up on.

Looks okay. Probably not well formatted for my laptop (768 vertical lines), considering it's 500+ lines from the top of the page to the bottom of the scrolly thing. Add in a title bar, menu bar, bookmarks toolbar, tab bar, and start bar - and you've basically got to scroll down to see any actual articles.

It was around 1EST I think. I remember the site going down around midnight central time and then next time I checked it was changed.
