not even close to actual.

maybe not, but its an interesting conversational point and I'm sure marketers look at this data when trying to figure out where to advertise.

What I would find disturbing is the 4 month trend, i don't know if its PV or uniques (looks like uniques) but its a strong downward trend. Is this a seasonal pattern or are users migrating to other sites? I'm noticing less activity overall.

Not saying that their data is accurate but a hell of a lot of info is out there about everyone. Ever sign up for a "free ipod" or free anything? Bet you had to fill out a form giving them your gender, age group, annual income etc etc... that along with tracking cookies can be used to trace your browsing habits. And huge databases of said info are available to any company wanting to pay for it.

I can only see this happening via amazon/alexa, but even then, no one has one single IP that they use. It has to be mostly guesses.

I wouldn't call it guesses I'd call it statistics. In that yes a lot of the data may be wrong but statistically enough of it is probably accurate enough for this, or something like it, to be a valuable marketing tool.

i think the poor part comes in because ATOTers are fucking cheap, despite making at least 100K a year.

I'm married, make a little under $100K a year, have two kids, and own a house. Am I still allowed to be here? :(
