The IRC server masks your ip so you can logon anonymously, it also has services, where you can register your nickname and channel.

If your new to irc, download Mirc. (http://www.mirc.com)
In Mirc type,

Undernet has two spiffy new server in addition to the ones already commonly used. Drop by our unofficial little channel #neochat anytime, though I recommend the evening because that's when most of us are home from work/other. 🙂

haha. We ban this moron more than a year ago for harassing a female in the channel and he's still upset! Your entertainment value is priceless. 🙂
 
There certainly aren't any juvenile, obsessive, self-righteous, vigilante cretins there either. At least not since we banned him.

Neochat seems to be the most "survived" chat for people from AT, for some reason. There've been other private IRC servers set up, and attempts to create other channels on the public servers, but the "regulars" in Neochat never seem to feel like changing, so they continue pulling people in.
 
The "semi-official" (I guess) IRC server is irc.teamanandtech.com channel #teamanandtech. Sometimes it is very boring there, but other times it is quite fun. Some of you might not like it since certain OPs will threaten to ban you if you say anything that would make the channel rated higher than G. 😉
 
Mirc 6.0+ lets you connect to multiple servers with one client. So you can be on ours and others at the sametime. Just a heads up.
