I was browsing in Barnes & Noble bookstore in Reston, Virginia, USA, last night, and saw a copy of the Anandtech Guide. Cool.

There was only one copy, next to the only copy of the Multiboot Handbook and other books on upgrading pcs.

I'm glad Anand and the others have ventured this far, and I hope they do better.

Oh, I was happy to see photos of all the important people at Anandtech.com.

I picked up this book at the end of last year before my trip to China ( I gotta have something to do on the plane right? :) ). It's a good read. A lot of the stuff in the book I had already learned here at AnandTech, but it did talk about some of the finer points of computer hardware and answered a lot of the "why's" I had about computing. I'd say it's perfect for anyone who has a basic grasp on hardware but still wants to learn about the specifics of how each componenet in your system works.

I saw one at Granville Books while browsing through books on .NET with my boss. I felt like I met a friend at the bookstore. :)
