In the AnandTech contests for items such as the recent Core i5 system and various previous similar give aways, it says in the contest rules that if you are selected that your name (or site user name?) will be posted, but I can never find out where that is. Does the AnandTech staff first contact you via the email address you have registered with your sign in name or do we have to see our name posted and claim prizes?
Just curious as to where the prize winners are posted. Thanks!
Fralexandr is correct in that this particular forum is for posting contests and sweepstakes for other members to enter. It also, unfortunately for you, has nothing to do with things on the main anandtech.com site. If you have a question about how things are done there, you will have to email one of the staffers there.
If this of any help, it does say in the Official Rules and Regulations for AnandTech Sweepstakes that:
"AnandTech will notify Prize winners using the contact information provided in the winning entry.
After the Grand Prize winner has been notified and has complied with all applicable Rules, AnandTech will post the Grand Prize winner’s name on this website."
