I was wondering what had happened to this. Great work on Aanands part to help out. Dealing with the IRS can't be much fun.

I'd still like to see a pay-pal option if possible.

Don't get too worked up about the tax deductability of your donations to not-for-profits. If you don't itemize, and if it isn't more than the sum of your personal exemption and standard deduction (~$7050 for a single person) you'll get no tax-reducing advantage.

You should make your contributions to not-for-profits just because you want to.

I'll be working on getting pay-pal as a payment option, I didn't think it would be this hard to setup a simple fund, but if you want to do it properly and legally, it takes quite a bit of time ;)

Take care,
Anand

The two other funds were being run by Utopia, and ForeverSilky.
Utopie, you started the thread, so I imagine you're taken care of.
Has anyone seen silky?

A lot of guys have small balances in their PayPal accounts which they could easily transfer to the fund. I think I may have $5 or $6 there now. Multiplied by just 500 and you've got a nice start on his medical and care expenses.
