Sweet! I thought I had just found a bug - I searched for old posts per page threads, and realized I had just scrolled through about 60 posts on the same page without having to hit next page. 🙂 No bug - it was changed in that 1 minute span while I searched. 🙂

As an IT professional, there's an old saying.."Keep It Simple, Stupid!"

Really hate this layout and of course, made for a slower browsing experience (regardless of browser, phone, internet connection). I could see why it's being deployed (ad revenues), but I just hated that it had to be this way.

100 posts/page will work for me. Customization is generally better, and maybe somewhere down the road you guys can implement that. But 100/page will work for now.

A quote button is missing when we post.

It's in a drop-down behind the little [+] ("Insert...") icon. That's also where the code and strike-through tags are located.

I still don't see a way to search this topic.

Click within the Search box and a little drop-down menu should appear that gives you options (check boxes) for searching only in the current thread or the current forum, as well as a coupe other options like searching for author. It's a little more powerful, but I prefer the simplicity and ease of vBulletin's approach.

Thank you! It's certainly well hidden for one of the most used forum tags. At least we have a Like button. 🙄

Thanks again. Yet another useful feature well hidden. If that's the way it works on this forum it would be nice if there was also a search box at the bottom of the page. It would save a ton of scrolling.

Cheers!

Thank you for increasing the posts/page, that was my number one issue. Although I am still only seeing ~25 threads/page even though I have that setting at 100.

When you do move on to adding new themes, please add something that lets us see normal thread icons instead of the OP's aviator.

It's been mentioned already but thought I'd add it again that the theme is terrible, but I think staff is working on that, just wanted to add it as official feedback. 😛

Actually, I'm not sure what is with this trend in general, so much white and gray. Windows 10 is the same, I can't stand it because of that.

Hey there all!

Quick request: please consider opinion feedback on the theme at this time as secondary to bug reports or outstanding issues. As mentioned in the transition announcement, and repeatedly since, the theme selected was for simplicity's sake as well as ease of transition, and is intentionally relatively vanilla to ensure the community did not implode during the migration. As soon as the outstanding bugs and issues are addressed, we'll open a thread to discuss possible alternative theming options (dark being number 1), and will strongly welcome very active engagement in that exploration of alternatives. If you do have feedback regarding the theme or new platform, please keep it precisely constructive. "We hates it!" doesn't aid, but precision commentary with specifics will be prioritized higher in the hopper.

Thanks all!

I'm so glad it's at 100 again. YESSSSS

Of course, I would prefer if it was a user setting.

Definitely not feeling this as a global default. I much prefer having 25 per. I guess you can't please them all, but why it isn't a user defined option is kind of beyond me since that's, like, a basic feature.
