I am trying to help out a friend. She has a little bro&sis that is doing some fundraiser that has to do with empty ink cartridges. If you guys could send your empty ink jet carts to her work that would be greatly appreciated. I know that most of you do not know me and probably don't care to help, but I am asking this as a personal favor to the Anand community cause her little siblings really want to win some prize and have been working really hard to get these carts and I think hard work should be rewarded. And no mention of me please, just send in your cart and wish them the best.

Sounds like someone wants to get started in the "re-filling empty cartrige" business and wants supply to give thier customers rather than waiting. I could be wrong but its a good idea.
 
I don't think they would be going through the trouble of getting a bunch of kids to collect empty carts. I know the kids aren't doing it, I just don't know abou the other people they are collecting for and getting money from...
 
i don't have any empty ones but I can try and steal from my neighbors printer next time I'm over there. I hope they don't mind some full ones.

HEy, I think Office Max runs a deal every once in a while where you can trade in an empty ink jet cartridge and get a free reem of paper 😛

Bump, even though it doesn't do much good.

It sounds like a good cause though. I know how it goes, I was always the kid sitting at the grocery store for 5 hours trying to sell just one more box of candy bars to try to get that mountain bike.

Are there a certain kind of ink cartridges wanted? Like at my high school, they just collect them (whoever is willing to give them) and send them in and can get so many "points" for each cartridge, and then they can pick stuff like scanners or printers or other types of things.... but we could only use HP and a few lexmark kinds...

nah, it's legit, or i'm fairly sure it is, my church is also collecting them, for what purpose, i don't know, but i donate when i get a chance,.....once every four months or so during school when i'm printing reports every four days
 
The sig idea is a good one... I think I will do just that...

I think that is the kind of thing is going on... empty ink carts for different school supplies. Also, it doesn't matter what kind of cartridge... all are accepted
 
Well, I suppose it really is, or like when a hot deal dies... but I am trying to broaden our horizons by bringing the effect to more altruistic applications, such as a fundraiser... Mail your empty ink carts!
 
Is this competition still going on?

We're running out of b&w and color ink, so is my sisters printer ... so I can ship 4 empty inkjet cartridges (2 HP and 2 Epson).
 
i have two sitting on the floor of my apt, but i'm saving them for my sister as her key club gets 1 dollar per cartridge collected.
