A few weeks ago we took suggestions for the main site, now we are letting you know what we implemented and what is coming:

1) There were a few suggestions related to searching on the main site we did the following:

- New alphabetical search in each section
- Search now searches title or body, both of which are now full text.
- Boolean searches are completely user definable now, in that you can have as many operators as you like

2) FAQ suggestions

- We implemented paging for the lengthy amount of articles
- FAQs are completely searchable now, and alphabetical listings are supported.

3) Bookmarking anandtech articles in My AnandTech, this feature has been approved, and will be implemented shortly.

4) Subscriptions
- Everyone now gets a 14 day advance notice of expiration
- You can now renew prior to your subscription running out, your existing subscription will be extended
- Added more checks on the ibill form to ensure people do not forget to hit continue and enter the appropriate information.

Thank you for your feedback, and continued support.

Woohoo! Thanks for taking our feedback into consideration, and applying it make Anandtech my (and I'm sure, many others) #1 source for Computer Hardware news, and discussion!

Thanks for listening to us!

Zuni,
wonder if its too late but I had an idea, could you add some product rating so that users could give products that they own a rating and perhaps mini reviews. Something like the resellerratings but just over the products themselves.

just an idea :)

Other suggestion: You have to make it easier for us to log in. Put login forms (username and password field) and signup button on top of AnandTech homepage when user is not yet logged in....You can hide the forms when user is logged in. To better describe what I mean, browse my.yahoo.com.

Odd, I had a post in this thread suggesting having links from the subscription page. My post was still here after Charles posted, but it disappeared after Zuni posted.

Charles even says "Other suggestion" right after the suggestion I had made, I believe referring to the suggestion I made. I subscribed to this thread when I posted to it.

I have refreshed a few times to make sure that I just did not load the page badly. I tried loading it with both Netscape and IE. It just doesn't seem to be here at the moment. I have never seen a post disappear before. [Edit: I have seen threads moved between forums or maybe deleted. But I have never seen a message in a thread disappear.]

Zuni, any ideas why a post would disappear? Is there a bug that sometimes makes a post disappear?
