Anyway - to answer the question:

Because Anandtech owns and runs the forums, so they have the right to make profit off advertising on thier own site. They do not, however, have to allow others to use the forums as free advertising for people's auctions.

Its not that AT has anything against flea-bay, its just that they do have the right to control the content of these forums.
