Gosh, I didn't know Anandtech just went and became a gambling website. Now there is a giant loss in respect.

Those stupid ass gambling ads have been around for quite some time.

Those party poker ads and the AnandTech deals postings in Hot Deals are an embarrassment to the site.

The poker ads have been up there forever... they just changed the sizing to stand out. You fell for it simpleton, pat yourself on the back.

I hear ya. At work I am stuck with IE.

At home I use FireFox with adblock extension = no ads.

It's funny that the huge-poker-ad threads just keep on coming. It really is an incredibly obnoxious and annoying ad, though.

I know, we should have a poll to see how many times people are going to post about them today.

I read a great article on Craig from Craigslist in this month's Wired. I wish other's would follow his example.

That doesn't even make sense. Fell for the larger ad? That would only be the case if the larger ad actually got someone to click on the ad. Who is truly the simpleton: the person that noticed the much larger ad or the person who didn't even notice the change?

Or you can use a better browser (Firefox). I've never seen that ad before much less any other ad.
