okay, guys, i'm probably REALLY reaching here, but the title of Anand's last post was "Bright Days Ahead"

the rumored name of Matrox's new project is Parhelia, which means "bright glowing spots on either side of the sun in the winter"

could this be a correlation...a tiny hint....or am i just REALLY reaching...my guess is that I'm reaching, but who knows. i for one am pulling for the matrox rumors to come to fruition.
 
thats compelling. its outright speculation but anand likes to drop hints that sort of way IIRC.
 
sounds plausible, but i still don't understand why he'd go to san fran. matrox doesn't even have an office there. Was there an event going on they were attending?
 
well, i think it is either 3dlabs or ArtX (they are part of ATI, desiged the R300, and are based in the san fran bay area)
