Yep. Somebody who thinks they have the specs for Parahelia (can't remmeber the site name) says that the NDA's expire on May 14th so, I've got next Tuesday marked as D-Day, and we'll finally know whether Parahelia is HOT or NOT!!!!
if matrox has good drivers from the start, Parhelia will own everything until NV30 (and it may own that too...who knows)
i bet Parhelia will be the product's name, just by seeing that Flash intro on Matrox's site.....it is definitely an animation of a parhelia phenomenon
if it is Parhelia, the guys at MURC had this nailed months ago...props to them
you know Electric Amish is just DYING for this to be released so he can drop a big "I told you so" to everyone here who doubted him...EA...you're the man...I can't wait for this to be released...it'll kick my GF3 Ti200 right outta my system
i loved my G200 when it came out. i didn't play any OGL games, so I didn't care about the OGL driver situation. the games i did play looked effin amazing though. i can't wait to see what my games will look like on this card
I for one hope it turns out to be just as good as Nvidia and ATI's has been. I'm not getting my hopes up for it, but if it's good, that'll be good for us, more selections, maybe even lower prices, and good old competition.
i have a strong feeling that this matrox card will be my next card since i'm not too hardcore about 3d performance....
as long as this things performs AT LEAST as good as an 8500, i'll be getting it...well, so long as it doesn't cost much more unless performs a lot better...and according to paper specs up at reactorcritical, it should.
Yes I think it will be my next card too if it lives up to half it's hype. 2-D is becoming more important to me than 3-D these days so hopefully it will have good drivers and the tri-head will be real sweet since I already run a dual monitor setup. Of course it won't hurt if it can run my favorite games too.
