Yes, you too can buy instructions on how to become rich with little to no work. Just Paypal $20 for the instruction pamphlet. With that pamphlet, I became rich beyond my wildest dreams in three months.

I met a guy who was dating his younger sister.

No wait...I met a guy who is Anand's wife's Vineetha's brother? This was awhile back when I was still in Chapel Hill, can't remember the details but he had gotten to know Anand well.

Do the opposite of this?
Why did I spend my time even trying to help :(

OP: Take some initiative, get something done! Just asking how won't help - I told you how to get started yet you don't. Quit wasting everyone's time and most importantly, bandwidth.

Hehe! :)

Cheers RossMAN

Cheers Zim

Anand got his start with a small and simple geocities page. Over time it slowly got attention for it's self and grew in to what it is today.

To start your own hardware review site, the first few years of hardware reviews must come out of your own pocket. Once you have made a name for yourself, companies like Intel, AMD, nVIDIA, ATi, etc will start to send you review samples or engineering samples. Sometimes they want those parts returned and other times they let you keep it; it all depends on various circumstances. Most reveiw sites sell those samples to raise funds to keep the website going and I think your motives are on the other side; you want your own revew site not for the sake of providing a service to the public but for your own selfish gain. They are in it for the love of what they do (reviewing) and not to get free stuff. You just don't want to pay for your hardware. That's tough and I won't tell you any more.

Two, I doubt that you even have the knowledge needed to provide an in depth technical analysis of the parts or knowledge the market forces that dictate which direction a particular company is heading and why it will do so. In the mean time keep reading anandtech.com and browsing newegg.com with your credit card in hand.
