The thing that will really make you say what the fuck is that there's a fair chance that guinea pig will later be cooked and eaten. My brother has made a couple trips to Peru, and on the last one, he was treated to guinea pig on a bun (served like a hotdog, only more akin to greasy, grimy gopher meat). He said it was one of the worst things he ever ate.

Yeah, but we don't have contests where we try to make the animals look like little people then eat the losers. We also don't deep fry the animals whole, bones and all, and serve them on a stick. So I'd say it's a little different.
