T1 was great. T2 was terrible.

Please don't consult George Lucas for writing the love story portion anymore, either.

Are you serious? Michael Bay makes great movies. Yeah, maybe not on the "artistic merit" scale, but I'm always entertained.

Someone needs to punch that fat fuck for converting Star Wars into a for-kids franchise, and completely screwing it up in the process. I mean, is having droids that act like droids and not a retarded version of Michael Bay's incarnation of the twins really asking all that much?

It's okay if Michael Bay sticks to making Michael Bay type flicks for children. He's absolutely the right guy to direct brain-dead action movies like Transformers. The trouble comes when he tries to turn real movies into special effects chase sequences. The Island, Armageddon and Pearl Harbor *could* have been good with a different director, but Bay botched them.

He just seems to love shitty scripts. Sometimes it works - The Rock. Sometimes it is garbage - Transformers 2 (that movie felt like 4 high guys sat in a room and desperately tried to remember the plot of the Cartoon movie).

What are you talking about? What does free speech have to do with my post?

Dear Michael,

Did you hit it? Was it worth it?

Thanks.

Bay almost certainly hit that. He seems like the kind of guy who would, and she's definitely the kind of chick.

Are you kidding? He not only hit it, he hit it hard, he hit it with the angry fist of God. And considering he says she's going to be in Transformer 3 even after all the crap she had said about him, it was apparently worth it.

I think that Michael Bay is too busy swimming in his giant pool of money to bother reading this open letter. Sorry OP.
