An odd SCSI problem

OK I have an Adaptec 3950U2b On one channel i have 2 LVD HDs that are running fine
Now on the other channel I have a Yamaha 8x Burner
and a Plextor UltraPlex Wide(Using 68-50pin Adapter) Now in the scsi Bios Its sees both the burner and the Plector but once I get into Windows 2000 It only sees the Yamaha
I was wondering if anyone else Had some ideas as to what this might be?
