would someone lend me a hand finding the newest firmware upgrade for LGE R580B cdrom drive? thx in advance

I'm assuming this is the goldstar/LGE cdrom drive?

Try here for drivers, but no updated firmware is available as far as I could find. Lookslike the drive wont even read cdr/cdrw formatted discs? Looks like upgrade time.
