An interesting, yet obvious observation

You know those "before" and "after" pictures most dieting/workout places use as their testamonials?

Why is it that everytime you see the "after" picture, the guy has always shaved off all his body hair and is now perfectly tanned? Wouldn't he still look "good" without the shave/tan?

At any rate... how do these people go about shaving their body hair anyhow? Do they just put a razor to it? Wouldn't it grow back as fast as your face causing you to shave everything everyday? :Q

Another thing, if you'll notice, in the before pic.. they always have a frown on their face, while in the after.. they're always smiling.. lol

Um...I hate hair on my shoulders or back. I pluck and shave both. I'm a hairy, hairy man. I also shape and trim my chest hair and keep my underarm hair about 1/2" long. I hate hairy pits.

I'm in a sharing mood this morning.

You have a nice car. Sorry about your breakfast. You should know better than to read OT while eating though. ;)

Doesn't it grow back as quickly as a beard would?
Do you just use a normal shaver/shaving cream?
Don't your pits itch after shaving?

<--- full of "body hair removal" questions :p

No, it doesn't grow back as quickly...it does come back, though. :|

I use both a razor with soap/water and a cordless/rechargeable moustache/beard trimmer.

I don't shave my pits w/a razor, I trim them close with the cordless trimmer. :) Few things are grosser than a guy standing with his arms at his sides and so much hair sticking out of his pits that it looks like he has a squirrel under each arm. Except a woman w/hair sticking out...ewwwwwwwww. :p

BTW, use a small comb and the trimmer to take care of my eyebrows. Shave b/t them twice a week. The Bert Unibrow is not attractive to any woman.

I think they use that laser hair removal treatment. You do it a few times and no more hair. How do you think those body builders or WWF wrestlers never have hair.

I know a very hot girl that had her hoo-hoo lasered. As her about it and she'll show you. Odd, staring at someone's hoo-hoo, in that context...

This is the same principle as is used in campaign ads on television - it has been proven that if you show two images, one clear, crisp and in color, and one fuzzy, blurred, and in black and white, the latter is always perceived as worse.

I also like those asteriks with the tiny print next to them that states, "Results are not typical."
