An Idea for the Thread Software

I was looking through the For Sale forums as part of my "Yay! Hour of free time!" browsing routine and had an idea for an additional to the forum software. A lot of the time I wind up browsing through a lot of the same threads that I have no interest in (I'm not really into RC cars or a new Dodge Dakota), and I was wondering if it would be possible to add an option to ignore or not display certain threads on an individual basis.

You can have the option of viewing all threads, but you can mark certain threads as "don't cares" or "ignored" threads and have them not display when you browse under your username. That way, you can ignore the stuff you have no interest in, such as the new guy trying to spam for his free iPod.

I know it's Fusetalk's software, but I thought there may be add-ons or open development available for the package that someone on here would know about.

This sound like a feasible idea?

Well, Forum Issues would probably be a better place to take this, but there, you'd be told to take it to Fusetalk 😛

I've never heard of open development for add-ons to Fusetalk (interesting idea 🙂) but I highly doubt AT will adopt anything that doesn't come straight from Fusetalk. Jason Clark, the webmaster here, is also high up in Fusetalk and, I believe, is the lead developer there.
