A friend is having trouble accesing some files in XP from an USB external HDD.
This is the drive (HD-D2-U2FW).
When connected, XP detects the drive and warns that no USB 2.0 was found (it's an older Dell with no fast USB). Could that be it? I assume that that would just hinder the speed of the data transfer, but not prevent access to the drive...
By the way, the files in the external HDD (about 120GBs of .WAV files from a Radio proyect we were working in) were created in a Mac with OS X Panther; the XP box has the main HD formatted in NTFS.
