Rogo is the most self-obsessed person I've ever encountered on ATOT :p He comes across as a fruitcake with an inferiority complex ;)

Back on topic:

Congrats to you OP

They don't have emoticons for cocaine, heroin, ecstacy, or LSD, so you have to settle for a toast of spirits.

Way to go lads.

FrozenC, you don't have to appologize to any of the beanbrains on this forum. It's just nice to read about someone that has overcome alcoholism. Keep up the good work!

Rogo

it boggles my mind that you joined months before I did.

Here's a hint. He doesn't spend all day sitting around posting like you do ;)

Yes, I definitely sit around all day posting on here.

Up until having a few problems with my computer a couple of weeks ago I visited here maybe five times in the past half year.

You've obviously been working really hard to make up for that lost time too. Do you want a cookie or something?
Are you Rogo's girlfriend?

George: "You know, Jason, I, uh, I couldn't help notice, I... I didn't get my
apology."

Hanke: "Apology? For what?"

George: "A drafty apartment? A... sweaterless friend? A ball-game giveaway
Metlife windbreaker?"

I'll drink to that smug undeserved elitism

Much?
If you are an alcoholic you lost me there.

Congrats to you on your hard work FC. I've seen sobriety in action and it can be a challenge. My father hasn't had a drink in over ten years, and one of my best friends is going on four months clean now.

Will this be a self-imposed program, working with a therapist, or a 12-step group?

You don't need to stop drinking, you just need to practice. The practiced drunk doesn't headline himself, he's a stealth drunk.

Keep at it. :)

Damn if they are douchebags what does that make you?

Sorry you are such a hurt little man. You would think living in 11 countries like you claim would have made you more accepting.

You'd do better for yourself, and better for the forums in general, if you simply ignored his posts.

Been there done that. I once posted that Nancy Pelosi was pretty hot looking for an older woman. I had to put down the bottle after that.

..it's nasty psychologically and physicaly corrosive stuff. It's deeply ingrained in American society. Some of the worst advise to come along in years is the one drink a day advise. Most people can't stop at one drink a day and end up with one foot in the grave. The alcohol industry tries to promote it self at every oppertunity. Most are healthier and happier without it.

And you read his posts or mine, why if they cause you such grief and agony?
